so for the 2nd time in my career at my job, the HR lady as asked me to participate in events with the National Black Accountants Association, to which each time i fight the urge to snidely reply, "uh...just wanted to let you know that i'm actually an asian." now we have another thing to add to my List of Things I've Been Mistaken For:

1. Muslim terrorist
2. Black

nashville stories

nashville story #1: i went shopping at the opryland mills today and on two separate occasions, a guy came up and complemented me on my shirt or jacket. one could interpret this in many different ways, but i'll just take a pg-rated interpretation and note that southerners are friendly folk.

nashville story #2: so...chances are that ive inherited a new house and will be moving come springtime.
